Firefighters' Burned Children Fund Day at Tweetsie PDF Print

The Watauga County Firefighters' Association, The NC Firefighters' Burned Children Fund, the Chapel Hill Burn Center, the Wake Forest Baptist Burn Center and Tweetsie Railroad sponsored a day for Western NC burn survivors on Saturday. The day was provided as a way to meet other burn survivors from the western part of North Carolina. It included activities with firefighters, lunch and free admission to Tweetsie. There were about 90 burn survivors and family members that attended the event.
