Young Enrepreneurs at ASU PDF Print

Anyone interested in entrepreneurship, sustainability and creativity shouldn't miss this event. ASU’s Center for Entrepreneurship is pleased to announce our annual Young Entrepreneurs Symposium (Y.E.S.),

sponsored by Back Yard Burgers on February 23 from 3:30 to 5:30pm at the Broyhill Inn and Conference Center. We have a very exciting lineup of young entrepreneurs this year. Brandon Adcock (ASU 2006 graduate) and Paul Reichelt, founders of Direct Digital, LLC, (http://www.directdigitalllc.com/) will talk about their personal story of how they have been able to generate tens of millions of dollars in sales in one year and have one of the best selling products in GNC stores across America today. We will also feature Chris Yura, founder of SustainU Clothing (http://www.sustainuclothing.com/). SustainU is an American clothing company utilizing domestic labor and recycled fiber to create apparel for the collegiate community. Chris is a former Notre Dame football star and international model, who took his knowledge of both industries and traded them in to focus on changing your clothing to change our world.
In addition to the speakers, we have some exciting entertainment from current and former ASU student entrepreneurs. We will open with a performance from members of the dance troupe Dust It Off, Inc., who have combined hip-hop, break dancing, step and other dance elements such as ballet, African, and modern, to create a truly unique dance style called Krumping. Chasing Parked Cars, an improvisational comedy group, is a small group of friends with big ambitions. Their performances involve stage exercises without scripts; they create characters and situations on the spot in front of audiences.
This event is free and open to everyone, but registration is required.  Visit www.business.appstate.edu/yes for additional information and to register, or contact Julia Rowland, This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it / 828.262.8325.
