Watauga County Arrests, June 18 - July 2

 

 

June 18

  • Richard Donovan Adams, 42, of 119 Burlington Road, Church Hill, Tenn., was charged with aiding and abetting larceny.

 

  • David Andrew Cheek, 31, of 122 Boone Docks Street, Boone, was charged with probation violation and was detained at the Watauga County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.

 

  • Oscar Eduardo Lozano, 22, of 211 Monteagle Drive, Boone, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute marijuana, possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute a schedule II controlled substance and maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance.

 

  • Dustin Allen Miller, 25, of 263 Charlie Thompson Road, Vilas, was charged with speeding and driving while license revoked.

 

  • Ethan Jedidiah Morris, 20, of 140 Goshen Creek Lane, Boone, was charged with a probation violation.

 

  • Elizabeth Ann Pitts, 19, of 139 Fall Creek Road, Zionville, was charged with obtaining property by false pretenses.

 

  • Hal Thomas Robinson, 23, of 4092 Highway 105 South, Apt. 103, was charged with three counts of assault with a deadly weapon and one count of assault to inflict serious injury.

 

  • Frank Edward Small, 52, of 116 Spring City Drive, Johnson City, Tenn. was charged with extortion and felony larceny.

 

June 19

  • Terri Lynn Chapman, 43, of 414 Ray Taylor Road, West Jefferson, was charged with violating a protective order.

 

  • Jody Quint Greene, 40, of 4470 Burns Road, Granite Falls, was charged with failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

 

  • James Arthur Moore, 33, of 533 Dewitt Barnett Road, Vilas, was charged with possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of drug paraphernalia, manufacturing a schedule VI controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine, and maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance.

 

  • Mikie Denyse Tobiassen, 34, of 755 Peoria Road, Sugar Grove, was charged with manufacturing a schedule VI substance, possession of methamphetamine, maintaining a dwelling place for a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

 

June 20

  • Heather Spencer Lewis, 40, of 2017 Grassy Creek Road, Mouth of Wilson, Va., was charged with possession of a schedule II substance and simple assault.

 

  • Holly Ann Mahala, 32, of 1172 Rock Creek Road, Creston, was charged with misdemeanor larceny.

 

  • William Claude Reece, 63, of 523 Old Forge Road, Mountain City, Tenn., was charged with possession of methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while license revoked, driving a motor vehicle without a registration, two counts of driving while impaired, two counts of driving while license revoked, driving without an operators license, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, driving with a revoked registration card or tag, possession of marijuana up to a half ounce, operating a motor vehicle without insurance, and failure to obtain a registration title.

 

June 21

  • Benjamin Edward Mercer, 24, of 256 Charles Street, Boone, was charged with driving while impaired and speeding.

 

  • Norman Charles Simmons, 50, of 1392 Laurel Fork Road, Vilas, was charged with assault on a female and criminal contempt.

 

  • Paul Edward Woods, 23, of 67 Hilton Street, Murphy, was charged with driving while impaired and unsafe lane change.

 

June 22

  • Valarie Hutchens, 44, of 2575 Highway 105, Boone, was charged with disorderly conduct and second degree trespass.

 

  • Michael Edward Moret, 20, of 1000 Keprechian Lane, Winston-Salem, was detained at the Watauga County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.

 

June 23

  • Garrett Brooks McGuire, 26, of 263 Charlie Hollar Road, Boone, was charged with driving while license revoked.

 

June 24

  • Chastity Lee Eastridge, 35, of 5039 Highway 421 North #2, Vilas, was charged with possession of a controlled substance on prison or jail premises and three counts of probation violation.

 

  • Lori Anne Hughes, 48, of 295 Mollies Branch Road, Newland, was charged with attempting to obtain property by false pretense and obtaining property by false pretense.

 

  • Stanley Arnold Miller II, 64, of 191 Wildcat Road, Deep Gap, was charged with fictitious or altered registration card or tag, driving with or allowing a registration plate not to display, and failure to notify Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change.

 

  • Joseph Wayne Painter, 51, of 3431 Little Laurel Road, Creston, was charged with felony writing a worthless check.

 

  • Christina Lynn Ruth, 20, of 385 Queen Street, Apt. C8, Boone, was charged with failure to appear for driving while license revoked and driving with a altered or fictitious drivers license.

 

June 25

  • Robert Randolph Arwood, 20, of 187 Clyde Townsend Road, Boone, was charged with a probation violation and a violation of a court order.

 

  • William Steele Sturgis, 45, of 3041 Hill Street, Deluth, Ga., was charged with two counts of second degree trespass, open container after consuming alcohol, and a leash law violation.

 

  • Vontrell Lasean Thompson, 20, of 5916 Patricia Ryan Drive, Charlotte, was charged with breaking and/or entering.

 

  • Stephen Curtis Voisey, 23, of 207 Jenwill Drive, Deep Gap, was charged with a probation violation.

 

June 26

  • James Lee Blegen, 31, of 2111 Washington Street, Sanford, was charged with failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge.

 

  • Thomas Michael Brown, 51, of 338 Brook Hollow Road, Boone, was charged with assault on a female.

 

  • Drake Alexander Caldwell, 20, of Pine Valley Road, Advance, was charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or distribute marijuana.

 

  • Matthew Jack Thomas Huskins IV, 27, of 174 Corbett McNeil Road, Boone, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute a meth precursor, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place, and resisting a public officer.

 

  • Brandon Keith Miles, 23, of 4146 N.C. Highway 105 South, Apt. 1, Boone, was charged with a probation violation.

 

  • Brian Michael Satterwhite, 23, of 103 Newcrest Lane, Oak Ridge, Tenn., was detained at the Watauga County Detention Center.

 

  • Giles Bougher Shirley, 33, of 117 Yonnah Court #117, Boone, was charged with a misdemeanor probation violation.

 

  • Aimee Melissa Simpson, 37, of 174 Corbett McNeil Road, Boone, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute a meth precursor, and maintaining a vehicle or dwelling place.

 

June 27

  • Johnny Ford Hollars, 33, of 322 Mast Gap Road, Vilas, was charged with assault on a female, communicating threats, and injury to personal property.

 

  • Jessie Lee Moody, 24, of 115 Vale Road, Newland, was charged with breaking and/or entering and larceny after breaking and/or entering.

 

June 28

  • Connor McKay Gorham, 19, of 4145 Mourning Dove Drive, Matthews, was detained at the Watauga County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.

 

  • Jason Allen James, 38, of 414 Ray Taylor Road, West Jefferson, reported to the Watauga County Detention Center to serve a sentence.

 

June 29

  • Mary Hazel Rich, 42, of 1386 Sampson Road, Boone, was charged with a misdemeanor probation violation.

 

June 30

  • Ralph Coleman Dunbar, 49, of 1988 Rush Branch Road, Sugar Grove, was detained at the Watauga County Detention Center on a 24-hour hold.

 

July 1

  • Brandon Jess Cox, 31, of 862 Blowing Rock Road #109, was charged with failure to report a new address by a sex offender.

 

July 2

  • Ryan Jeremy Friday, 35, of 259 Noel Drive, Blowing Rock, was charged with assault on a female.

 

  • Dustin Lynn McElyea, 22, of 471 Dr. Taylor Lane, Mountain City, Tenn., was charged with driving while license revoked and providing fictitious or false information to an officer.
